A few days ago, I asked my brother why he dealt with his ex-girlfriend for so long. I couldn’t let go of how immature she was and how my parents had to provide for her because she couldn’t do anything for herself. I kept talking shit before he could even answer lol then my dad had to shut me up and tell me to take into consideration that she had a broken family and that she had no help, so her values were messed up. My brother finally said that he wanted to leave her, but he didn’t want to leave her with nothing so he waited until she could stand on her own two feet. It wasn’t until then that I realized how patient they really are and how ungrateful I am sometimes to have such a caring family.
